This Privacy Policy describes how L8 Loop collects, uses, and protects your information.

What we collect

• Account information: email address, authentication tokens
• Content you provide: resume text, job descriptions, interview transcripts, audio recordings (used for speech-to-text)
• Usage data: session timestamps, mode selections, completion events, model identifiers and token counts for service operation and cost monitoring

How we use it

• To deliver the Service (generate questions, score responses, render dashboards)
• To evaluate and improve our models and prompts using aggregated, de-identified usage data
• To respond to support requests
• To detect and prevent abuse

Third parties

We share necessary data with the following service providers to operate L8 Loop:

• Supabase (database, authentication)
• Google (Gemini API for language model inference)
• Groq (Llama and Whisper APIs for language model inference and speech-to-text)
• LemonSqueezy (payment processing)
• Vercel and Google Cloud (hosting)
• Resend (transactional email)

We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

If you are located in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email privacy@l8loop.ai to exercise these rights. We will respond within 30 days.

Retention

• Stories and account data: retained until you delete them
• Audio recordings: purged 30 days after upload
• Usage logs: retained for 12 months for operational and billing purposes

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users without undue delay in the event of a confirmed breach involving personal data.
