Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of L8 Loop, an AI-driven interview preparation platform operated by L8 Loop ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

L8 Loop is a software platform that helps users prepare for job interviews through AI-generated practice questions, structured story coaching, and performance feedback. The Service is not a substitute for professional career, legal, or medical advice.

2. User obligations

You agree not to: (a) abuse the Service or attempt to interfere with its operation; (b) scrape, crawl, or extract Service content programmatically; (c) reshare or redistribute generated content for commercial purposes outside your own job-search use; (d) impersonate other users or submit content you do not have the right to share.

3. Subscription terms

Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle until canceled. You may cancel at any time by emailing support@l8loop.ai or through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are issued for mid-cycle cancellations except as required by law or as described in our Refund Policy.

4. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the resume content, job descriptions, and stories you provide. We retain ownership of the L8 Loop platform code, AI system prompts, scoring rubrics, and all Service infrastructure. You grant us a limited license to process your content for the purpose of delivering the Service.

5. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee specific interview outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
